Just moved back to Norway!

Getting to know new and exciting people from around the world. Currently working on my Phd in Essen, Germany.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet new and exciting people, and to learn new cultures, and hopefully in the same time get to know myself a bit better.

Have until now only hosted people, and met people coming to Essen and the area, but hope to get the chance to see it from a surfers perspective soon.

兴趣

In the daily life I try to train quite a lot, and it usually goes in strength training, and power lifting, but also some running and cycling during summer, and really enjoy snowboarding in the winter.

Apart from that I relax by reading books, watching tv-series/movies and stuff like that. Also a big fan of food, both eating, and at times making, and enjoy trying new things. I am also enjoying just hanging out with friends, having a beer(maybe more...), and also appreciate going out witih whoever I host, drinking a beer, as it usually feels more relaxed.

音乐、电影和书籍

Generally enjoy a lot of music, but usually listens to rock music, when I choose myself, but my interest in music is kind of varying during the year.

As a nerd, I do enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, superhero stuff, both when it comes to books, movies and television. So Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Marvel stuff, but also enjoy other stuff, but the list is too long, currently reading Wheel of Times.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Don't feel I do any amazing things, but certain things are always memorable, to name some:
Moving to Germany, and living in a new country, was scary, but still an rewarding thing to do.
Some snowboard runs, and the view from some mountain tops are always great memories.

I am happy to share my knowledge, be it how to solve the Rubics cube, some Norwegian, or anything else, also always glad to share experiences.

I am usually quite sharing, and try to offer guests whatever I have at home.

Ill try share what I can, I find it natural to help around with whatever needs to be done, and to help buy in stuff, and probably pay for beer or something if we go out, but it depends on what feels natural then and there.

Also offcourse interested in sharing stories, experiences and my knowledge. Can also bring local stuff from Germany/Ruhrgebiet, if wanted.
