About Me

ABOUT ME

funky child!!!

Trying to live as simple and uncomplicated as possible. I have a great thirst for life, recently I've started living each moment with such love and excitement. I wanna share this with others and in the way maybe others will share their beautiful visions of the world with me. I love being in nature, I pick wild mushrooms with my 70 year old best friend. We share the passion, kiss the mushrooms, thank the earth and have great talks about life. I love to go out dancing, either to punk, funk or any other kind. If the music is good it will move me for sure. Could talk about music for hours, it's my biggest interest. It's awesome to share interests with others. I'm planning to go to college next year to study translation and would like to do some sort of exchange program to a French speaking country (any universities you'd recommend?). I hope to some day live a self sufficient lifestyle in some wild corner of Portugal so I am trying to be as self reliant as possible by learning all the skills I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couch surfing is a great way to connect people and to create a sort of international community that I wanna be a part of. It's very interesting to think about all the exchanges that happen between couch surfers, hosts and just general travellers. So much kindness going on.

Interests

I love music above everything else. I'm into all sorts of music, I believe that there are interesting things going on in every single genre. I could listen to anything from experimental noise or commercial pop, as long as it is creative and stimulating. It's great fun to share creative interests with other people. I've been carrying around a notebook so people that I meet can write down music/movies/books or anything else they think is worth sharing. I wanna learn to play an instrument (maybe piano). I have so much music in me that I need to have an output. Also it's in my plans to try it out as a DJ, just for friends and small parties. Dancing is another thing that brings me great joy. I feel completely free and I don't mind if I'm silly or what others will think. I'm having fun and that's what matters, if you're into dancing let's do it together. I would say I'm quite an artistic person, with no skills whatsoever but loads of creativity. Art moves me deeply. I could spend hours at a museum noticing the details of each peace of art and reading about what was in the artists' minds. I think art is the main medium for experimentation and forward thinking. Love being in nature, hunting for mushrooms, going to the beach, hiking. I am quite an active person and love to do all sorts of physical occupations. Travelling is something that is in the core of my interests. Just had my first solo adventure and it was incredible. Had great adventures and met some interesting kind souls on the way. Also love reading and watching movies. Share your favorite books and movies with me please.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started living like a child again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you things about my home country. Foraging for mushrooms. A bit about nature/self-sufficiency. Cooking tasty vegan food. I love to cook with others, to share food I've made and to constantly try new recipes (even though the best meals are spontaneous and improvised). Sharing I think is the most important and beautiful interaction between people. I want to share as much as I can without care if I will receive something in return.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, help in anything they might be needing, insights, jokes, hugs, love!

Countries I’ve Visited
