Hi-diddely-do fellow Couchsurfer
If you landed on my profile it probably means that we have something in common (or the far more likely: you just need a place to crash and I popped up near the top of the list).
I'm an avid traveler and if boring adult life prevents me from doing so myself, I love to bring the travelers to my home and hear all about their plans and adventures. Sit down with me for a cup of tea and tell me your tales of far away countries, exotic mysteries or how you can't find any decently-priced ice-cream in Switzerland.
(spoiler alert: there aren't any, but at least I can show you a place that's worth the money)
What else?
I'm a fun and curious person (with the occasional bout of social anxiety mixed in), but I'm not much of a party animal. If you like to go clubbing till the early morning hours and want me to show you the hottest clubs in town, I might be the wrong host for you.
I prefer going to the movies, visiting a karaoke bar earlier in the evening or just relaxing at home with a vintage glass of the good old whatever-strikes-your-fancy. :)

Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy for some language exchange. If you speak any of the languages I'm currently learning, let's practice! In exchange I will teach you the absolutely useful skill of how to apply the German Plusquamperfekt at your next cocktail party.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd better not make any big promises. Just come over and see for yourself!
Hey, if you're still reading this, include the word "champignon" in your message. It's not a requirement to get hosted, I'm just curious. 😁
