About Me

I'm Argentinian. Teacher of English as a foreign language. I’m sometimes a little shy and I enjoy spending my time with people I love. I usually work long hours but once the school year is out and my two-month holiday start, I rest and/or travel. Travelling became my number one goal and priority in 2014! So here I am, looking forward to my next adventure. I'm really independent but caring. I love animals and I have a cat and a family dog.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new here and I've never really made use of CS before but I think the concept is great. I love how it gives people the opportunity to experience an unknown city from a local's perspective.

Interests

I LOVE traveling! And taking the most out of my trips. Walking, walking, walking. I hadn't realized that I liked it so much until I went to the states and started wandering around. I'm a very crafty person, and I love board games. I also play paddle (a tennis-like sport) although I'm kind of bad at it , I don't usually give up easily. I've participated in some local amateur tournaments. It was so much fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I am currently working so much and I've started a new course, it's been hard to catch up on my reading but I used to have this habit of visiting thrift shops and buying old used books that were interesting enough for me to buy. These books were everything from jane Austen, harper lee to twilight... yeah...I know, but I actually enjoyed it !! :p
I've been crazy about the Beatles for a couple of years now (resuming our relationship from when I was a teen), so I am ready to discuss the meaning and origin of all their songs with anyone who's willing to.. !! Hah!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Being an au pair for a year and a half. Apart from the lifechanging experience that it was, it opened my mind to a new world which I didn't know about.
-Travelling solo with just a backpack (California - LA- san diego- san francisco- las vegas etc/ Chicago/ New York/Philadelphia).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My traveling partner -and BFF- and I are very organized and respectful, so we will make our best to avoid being an inconvenience to you. We pick up after ourselves and we will always be down to help (you, yours or anyone for that matter). We can share stories of our hometown and we would love to hear yours. We love conversations, a good red wine (preferably Malbec since we're from Argentina and can't help ourselves) and making new friends!!
