About Me

‘’If you respect me, I will respect you. It works both ways.”

I’m a friendly, open-minded person who loves discovering the world, learning about different cultures, and meeting kind and transient people. I enjoy meaningful conversations, exploring new places, and sharing experiences with people from all walks of life.

I am a pet specialist veterinarian focused on the health and well-being of cats and dogs. After graduating from Uludağ University’s Veterinary Medicine Faculty, I worked for six years in an animal hospital. Later, I decided to return to my hometown to create my own business. Today, I run a large, fully equipped veterinary clinic in Mersin, and I also own a pet market that provides everything pets may need.

My mission in life is to help animals — all of them. I am especially sensitive when it comes to street animals, and I try to support them whenever I can. As someone who deeply loves animals, I truly believe that God gave me the ability to heal them as a gift, and that this is the purpose I was sent into this world for.

I laugh a lot — often at myself — and I try to keep a positive attitude in life. I’m usually smiling, and I genuinely enjoy meeting people.

I also love cooking, especially for others. Sharing food always feels like sharing a part of myself.

Just smile — it’s free. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people from all over the world, and I still believe in its original power — real human connection.

Interests

Animals, traveling, cooking, Formula 1 (big Michael Schumacher fan), diving and marine life, fish restaurants, basketball (Kobe Bryant), and dancing — especially to 90’s R&B.
I enjoy music, meeting new people, and meaningful conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of R&B — especially 90’s and 2000’s classics — along with house, electronic music, and a good dose of 90’s Turkish pop.

I’m not a big reader — probably one of the things I wish I were better at — but I always enjoy learning from real-life stories and conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Six years ago, I found a male dog on the street who had been hit by a car and was lying in a coma. I took him in, treated him, and kept him in intensive care for two months. He survived — and I adopted him. Today, he is a healthy, happy dog, and he even has a tattoo on my body as a reminder of the miracle we lived through together. If that accident hadn’t happened, that tattoo wouldn’t exist. It’s a constant reminder that everything in life happens for a reason.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
Teaching starts with learning — and I love sharing everything I know about animals, veterinary care, and real-life experience.

Learn:
Learning starts with sharing. I enjoy learning from people, their stories, and their perspectives. Every person teaches me something new.

Share:
Sharing starts with trusting. I believe that the best thing in the world is simply… to trust.
I share good energy, honest conversations, food, smiles, and whatever life allows me to offer.
