Hello couchsurfers, this is Gaia, a 31 yo English teacher with a passion for traveling, that's trying to make teaching a hobby and travelling a job 😜 After 6 years abroad I've decided to come back home and settle; now, after 5 years in my hometown, I might be ready to move again!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and making new friends from all over the world! Couchsurfing helped me a lot when I first moved abroad more than 10 years ago, as I often traveled solo 🎒

I've decided to start hosting again after I moved out: I've been helped a lot and I want to help back. I normally contact people that are travelling around my area and could fit my schedule, and I prefer to host women cause I know how it feels to travel solo and feel uncomfortable in someone else's home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love tv shows and movies, ways ready for new suggestions; I listen to music a looot, mostly pop, reggaeton, rap and hip hop, and I've been to many concerts, especially in the past couple of years. I'm also an avid reader and have hundreds of books (some of them still unread tbh 🤭), always looking for new title to add to my collection.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love spending time with my hosts and talk about anything: I particularly love to share life experiences, travel stories and Couchsurfing anecdotes! I'd love to cook with or for you, help with the cleaning or do anything that needs to be done around the house; I'm also very independent and I'm ready to make my own plans and explore by myself in case you are busy, working or already have plans.
