ABOUT ME

My name is Simon, my mates call me smally. On the weekends you can find me watching NRL. You can usually find me going for a surf or hanging out with my mates. I just graduated from uni and spent 2009 on world tour 09' which included America, UK and Europe. Back in Brisbane, now about to set off on an adventure through America, Canada, South America, Thailand and hopefully England.

PHILOSOPHY

I choose to actually live my life. Most people finish school get a job get married and have kids. While I do plan to do these things I also want to get out there and enjoy the world. When I return home I want to find a job that allows for a great lifestyle.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the chance to host yet as I live in a full house at the moment. My plan is to travel over the next few years and couchsurf through different countries and then host people when I buy a house when I get back. I am looking forward to doing both as meeting new people and hearing different stories is so much fun. It is so much more fun then the boring 9 - 5 work lifestyle that most people fall victim to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am yet to experience the thrill of couchsurfing. I think the concept of this website is brilliant and I can't wait to take advantage of this opportunity to meet new people. I am looking forward to surfing at peoples houses but equally looking forward to hosting and showing people around my city.

Interessen

I love Travelling (Obviously) and meeting new people but I also enjoy surfing, rugby league, music both listening to and playing. I play drums and play basic guitar and snowboarding.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have Road-tripped across the United States from New York to LA twice and have seen awesome land marks like the Grand Canyon and met amazing people. I have lived and worked in Canada to experience the snow season which was epic and I have backpacked around Europe.
