ABOUT ME

Andreas: I'm Greek, living in Athens -which I adore- by the age of 3. I was born in 1972. I love life and I thank God for the chance to let me live with health and happiness, till now. I especially enjoy to meet people, travel, take pictures, read poetry, go to exhibitions, museums, cinemas, concerts e.t.c. I do like sports - forza AEK!

Vika: I'm Ukrainian, living most of the time in Kiev. I was born in 1980. I met Andreas in the summer of 2006 in Ukrainian Crimea, being both on holidays, and my life surely changed a lot... starting a new one in Greece. To the better?
I like to learn new things as languages, anything about computers e.t.c. I love dancing, trips, cooking, yoga, cinema and photography! I have successfully finished the Paedagogical Department at the University of Athens. As a profession, I usually work (since 2023) at Greek elementary schools, I teach Russian to Greeks -private lessons- and make translations.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We live at an old flat around 73 s.m. (trying to renovate it...) and there is possibility to host somebody. The problem is that we are both busy enough, we generally have more free time during the weekends. Just ask us if we can host you (2-3 days sounds a "logical" period)! You can sleep at our sofa, which can be transformed into a double bed, but without much privacy as it is in the living room. Have in mind that during especially the weekdays you have to leave our home with us, around 8 in the morning, and usually we are all back after 21.00.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have to thank all the nice people we have met on our road and hosted or helped us. All the meetings were great, we would like to see you again - especially in Greece. We are really grateful to you!

We also enjoy the time we spend with people while we host them. We'd like only to... prepare our visitors that we live with an energetic girl (born in 2014) at home, be ready sometimes to get up even in the middle of the night... IT WILL BE A JOY FOR US AND FOR HER IF YOU'D LIKE TO MAKE AN EFFORT TO PLAY AND SPEAK SOMEHOW WITH OUR DAUGHTER, she speaks Greek, Russian and she is learning English. Also, please have in mind that we prefer to receive requests at least 3 weeks before your arrival, as we like to organise everything soon and generally we have a fixed programme. It is important for us to spend some time with our guests (usually after 21.00)...
