ABOUT ME

Olly's purpose is to energise The Garden Gathering Movement.

A nomad at heart, hitchhiking has been a core part of life since very young. Through years of practicing low-impact, minimal-money travel, he strongly wishes to create a highly livable and sustainable self-perpetuating way of life for all...

A lifelong vegetarian until he turned Vegan just before 20. Now 24, he's traveled a lot, been in so many adventures, with so much to be thankful for.

Working with beautiful energetic avenues and groups such as CouchSurfing.org. Sea Shepherd, ConFest, Rainbow Gatherings, and various environmental/activist things, he now has found his life's purpose. This came to him progressively over time, and quite profoundly around the time of his 24th birthday in Melbourne. The idea of a Garden Gathering already around, it was re-envisioned within him, bringing such a swell of realisation, dreaming and excitement so to be barely able to contain himself within the human body, wanting to paint his soul across the sea, land and sky.

This vision and passion have now, as he wished for a way to make possible, become his life's focus and voluntary career. While living on little or no money, creativity, imagination and resourcefulness are key. Now seeking energy in the form of financial aid, for this vivid venture, he aims to revolutionize Rainbow, focus it into a tremendously tempered canvas of infinite creative capacity, and splash it across the open world...!

All who would join this movement are welcome, especially deftly dedicated explorers of ecstatic ecological joy, peace & love. And who are balanced by clarity, compassion, mindfulness...while cultivating brilliant cooperation and communication.

Olly's know for his love of Tahini. This super-amazing substance, a vegan's catnip, nay...a catnip for all humanity! And when we create our first village, with it's endless fields of sesame, we will grow enough of these seeds so everyone can have enough vitamin T.

He loves his family (his brothers & sisters), and will do whatever it takes to achieve this village. But he does need to be in a cohesive team. Equally enthusiastic beings are sought for Blue Team! Curious? Connect!

PHILOSOPHY

For good people to act in goodness is a prime cultural richness of our time. When this happens, from each person's resolute decisive action, to do good and uphold goodness in the world, is wondrous..

I'm a Vegan because I strongly disagree with the factory-farming of animals in our modern society, along with the various plethora of horrors inflicted upon them. I feel that all this land used for cattle and sheep would be much greatly put to use for cultivating variety and abundance, for vegan diets on a mass scale. At this stage on our planet, we, the Transition Generation, can plunder the Earth into a state of non-ability to support life, or we can be smart and intently create a strong civilization in harmony with our Mother Earth.

This is what I'm about, and am campaigning to create sustainable settlements world-wide.
