About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live a fulfilling life, to laugh often, to never stop learning, and to inspire others to do the same!
ABOUT ME
Currently, I'm venturing solo around London and France after completing the most amazing 3 month trip around Southern Africa. I love travel and have a tendency to daydream about venturing off to far distant places....it has been the best way to open my eyes to the great unknowns in life.
I'm a 25yr old post graduate, recently finishing my job at the Environmental Protection Agency and hoping to ultimately use my knowledge and education to help improve conservation in the developing world. I developed my love and respect for wildlife and all things natural early on...I was taken out of school for a year (very willingly) to travel around Australia in a small beat up holden camper. I joined an exchange program in Japan & have done some conservation work in South Africa. I have a serious case of the travel bug and once it gets under your skin, there's no cure!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite Movies: Any comedy with Will Farrell, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn or Ben Stiller. Also loved Blood Diamond, Last King of Scotland, Gladiator, Constant Gardner, A Mighty Heart, The Dark Knight, Slumdog Millionaire, Felon, American Gangster, Babel, Mongol, and a few of the Pixar animations. Hayao Miyazaki’s animated films are beautiful.
Favorite Books: Travel Biographies, Adventure/Mystery & New Age....currently enjoying Jodi Picoult's novels and Khaled Hosseini's 'A Thousand Splendid Suns'.
Favourite Music: Anything and everything! But especially love relaxing to folk rock, acoustic, and any music with a good african beat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably one of the biggest challenges of the year (and the most rewarding), was climbing to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. It was the most awe-inspiring, breath-taking places I have ever endured to see! Well worth all the pain, sweat and shivering from the freezing cold!
Countries I’ve Visited
Botswana, Japan, Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
