French-born girl (grew up in the Eastern Vosges, family living in the South-West now). I went to study neuroscience for a year in Australia, where I met my partner Roland (Byron Bay born carpenter).
He came back with me to France and learnt French - we lived together in Lyon for 4.5 years.
We are now back in Australia, in Brisbane, where we are renovating a flat, and exploring all the natural beauties the region has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined many years ago, because I very much like the concept of staying with local people when traveling and of showing visitors around the places I love.

Now in our home, Roland and I think an open house is a lively house.
Because we ended up hosting a lot of family and friends (and friends of friends), we haven't been that active on CS - but this time might come again soon.

Interests

We love to be out and about in nature, doing physical activity (although we are not hardcore fanatics of any particular sport).
We also love to travel, meet new people, be sociable.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you come to our place, we can maybe make some earrings (blow-torch fired enamel), modify any of your objects (clothes, backpack, broken glasses, whatever!). Or we can go out and show you around the beautiful nature (mountains, rainforest, beaches, cliffs) that is close to Brisbane.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love to contribute to the life of the house - through shopping, food preparation, etc...
We are always up for a good chat, food, drinks and share our stories of travels, life and work. Roland in particular has always bizarre anecdotes on everything :)
Oh, and if you want to hear some weird world music, just ask for the Mongolian rock band!
