Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I try to give my visitors a taste of South African life and food. My place is not in the city centre, but I have a spare scooter that visitors can use if they have a license to ride it. My parents have a holiday house in the Garden Route on the South Coast and I sometimes host couchsurfers there also. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have met many great people who have stayed with me and I stayed with some fantastic people in Europe, the Balkans, Alaska and Canada.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very wide appreciation for music from classical to rock.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Skydiving in Stellenbosch, flight in Jet Provost and skiing in Switzerland. Hitch-hiking in Alaska and camping in below -20°C was quite an interesting experience also. Sailing across the Atlantic for more than 5 weeks with 3 other people on a 13m sailboat.

I love to learn the differences between cultures and foods all over the world and I love to share traditions and food from my country.
