HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are house-sitting for a year. Until the end of Summer 2014. If there are community events going on around, we may participate in them. It's definitely less busy out here than in Victoria, where I'm from.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Were hosted by a wonderful couple in Glasgow for a number of days.
- Met some awesome couch surfers at a new years party at a friend-and-fellow-couch-surfing-member's place.
- Hosted three different individuals at our old shared apartment

We both enjoyed the Ender series, I'm getting into Iain Banks. Hitch-hikers guide was lovely (all of 'em). We're fond of modern rock music. Really any non-elevator music, usually. Kauffman and Wes Anderson movies, good, weird movies.

Climbed many mountains including turtle mountain. Many with spectacular views.
