ABOUT ME

With a main interest in music and Japanese language and culture, I try to spend my time on these hobbies. I am studying Japanese at Aarhus University. I have traveled in Japan as well as Vietnam, Thailand and India with my girlfriend, Johanne, whom I live with. I try to act on impulse as often as possible...

PHILOSOPHY

This is hard to define. I believe in solidarity first and foremost, everything else comes naturally i guess...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by opening my home to travellers from all over the world. I would also like to meet other members of this community, as I seek to travel as much as possible. I take a huge interest in learning about other cultures, and contributing to a world of further understanding.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed couches in Germany, and had couchsurfers in my appartment.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kieslowski and Jim Jarmusch are dear filmmakers in my book. I love to read classic litterature, but also new; Jonathan Safran Foer really caught my interest. When it comes to music, my ultimate idol is David Bowie but I have a very broad taste in music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, going to Japan was a big deal.

I find it kind of hard to put anything in this box, but I would like to exchange knowledge and perspectives on life with other people. To me that is possible through conversation or by reading on the subject. I couldn't possibly begin to define these things in short form.
