Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

**I was previously unable to host due to living above a cafe where the owners were uncomfortable about people they didn't know having access (fair enough... it was their stock, equipment and livelihood). I've just moved into a new place in an old factory near Smith St in Collingwood... it's still a mess from moving but hosting may be an option soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my couch surfing experience has been by luck and the generosity of strangers, not mediated through this site. In terms of this site I've offered to meet up with one or two travellers in and show them some little, out of the way pockets of my home town (Melbourne), to show them some bars and and stay in touch with the "traveller's life" while at home. Also met a bunch of couch surfers on the road and have stayed with them while cycle touring through Europe.

I guess I'm just dipping my toe back into the old profile now but feel free to say g'day :)

(apologies if there is any outdated information in this profile, it's been inactive for years due to incompatible living arrangements but I will try to gradually bring it up to speed)
