About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To connect with other like minded revolutionaries in every place I can

ABOUT ME

I tend to write my stories with a crowbar and bike tires, only read by those who know the collection of letters by heart anyway, I just provide blank pages to sing along to keep myself from losing my consciousness in the ether. I've made my bed in the multitudes of pit stops I like to call home, in a desperate attempt to shit myself into thinking there is such a thing, but where I lay my head is where my love stays, though my feet might be somewhere else for the time being. In a world where even the truth has become relative to the faces I give names, the expanses of mattresses and Colorado night skies keep me in place, no matter how many wrinkles, scars, or broken hearts it might deal upon me in my passing days here. My middle name may be idealism, but that's just another series of scribbles on a blank page....my eulogy will be given by a scavenger hunt of forgotten footsteps on empty streets, used up receipts, broken razors and the discovery of a bonfire long dead when found. These memories of myself have been fading as of late, and greyhound love is what replenishes faith in the world I call shelter. Now that I've given my life giving all to love, it's been returned to me with more than I can ever hold within myself, so the rest shall be released on stray dogs who keep me company in my journeys, and perhaps more so to the hand that holds mine along the way to wherever my thoughts are pointing.

PHILOSOPHY

Great people, safe travels, and good whiskey.

"The instinct to command others, in its primitive essence, is a carnivorous, altogether bestial and savage instinct. Under the influence of the mental development of man, it takes on a somewhat more ideal form and becomes somewhat ennobled, presenting itself as the instrument of reason and the devoted servant of that abstraction, or political fiction, which is called the public good. But in its essence it remains just as baneful, and it becomes even more so when, with the application of science, it extends its scope and intensifies the power of its action. If there is a devil in history, it is this power principle." - Mikhail Aleksandrovich Bakunin

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have a place to be permanent for a bit, my doors, beds, couches, kitchens, are always for everyone. I've been active with Food Not Bombs for 8 years (and counting), Anarchist Black Cross, several squatting movements in Richmond Virginia, and pretty much am willing to jump on board with great people doing great things at any opportunity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in 42 of the 50 states.... hopefully my current trip will drop me in a few more of those. The great experiences have always vastly outweighed the bad, and even those made good stories.

Interests

Traveling, writing, biking, drinking on porches and rooftops, hiking, sleeping next to close friends, finding the treasures hidden in the unbeaten path. everything has posed an interest at least once.

Music, Movies, and Books

It would take too long to list them all. I'm currently stuck on Neil Gaiman and modern Hindu realism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've gotten drunk at sunset on sunken pirate ships, seen sunrises from the highest peaks of the rockies and the appalachians, run from and at rio police in the streets of San Francisco and D.C. .... We swam with barracuda and dove from cliffs in the Caribbean, grown our own food, stolen everything from hearts to houses ... We've gotten laws changed, we've fed countless hundreds in more cities than we can remember, we tried to acquire a boat in Tampa, and we accidentally sank one into the Mississippi. We've fallen in and out of love and then repeated without learning from our mistakes. We've seen friends born, live, marry, create, and seen too many of them die. We're still young ... and this list is growing every day
