About Me

Choose Your Own Adventure

*Please read this profile before sending me a request

I am a cool, easy going and talkative French guy currently living in Dortmund, Germany, back to Europe after having lived in the US for a little while. To be fair, I came to Germany very randomly, but I'm loving it!

I like hanging out with friends and have some good time, like to have fun in every way possible and also like to have great and deep conversations sometimes. I am curious about everything, so we can talk about just everything.
I am mastered in political history and in philosophy.

Also I am gay, I prefer you to know in case you are bothered by gays. But keep in mind I'm not just a gay guy, I'm human which is much more complicated!

One thing I have noticed since I am a CSer is that I have to say I am not a vegan and not even a vegetarian though I respect your way of life if you are. And this is mostly because bacon is one of the best thing that happened in my life, that's why!
Anyway I'm not closed to host vegan or vegetarian people. It's all about mutual respect.

I have a big passion for languages and I love to learn a lot about. So I have some bases too in Russian, Polish, Maori, Xhosa and also Kalaallisut (yes I prefer languages who have strange names!). I just love to do a 'language exchange' with somebody. Also I am very hard working Dutch and Danish (by planning possible future trips) so if you do speak those languages I would love to speak with you or at least try to!

Also I want to keep clear the fact that Couchsurfing is much more than simply a free accommodation to me. When I travel, I generally come to discover the place but also the people who live there. I'd like you to come with the same state of mind.
I do not accept anymore one-night-request as I consider we won't get enough time to get to know each other. Thanks to consider that before asking to stay.

During the week, I'm working, so I don't get a lot of time to hang out, but still I can host you!

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had many CS experiences by hosting or being hosted, and I would like to have many many more!

I really love to speak different languages and travel the world.

I am very easy going and talkative. I am interested in basically everything, love to talk, debate, share and exchange, I love to enjoy my life!
I am very sociable, so I like to meet new people and make new friends!
Everything you're interested in is interesting me! I love to learn a lot of things that means I am eager to learn whatever whenever and have a serious Wikipedia addiction!

Also I like to learn about foreign cultures so I would really appreciate to learn about yours by sharing experiences with you

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite film directors include Wes Anderson, François Truffaut, Xavier Dolan, Pedro Almodovar, Gus van Sant, Tim Burton, Hayao Miyazaki and many many more

Musically, I am pretty open minded.. I can listen everything depending of the moment, from Billie Holiday to Devin Townsend, from Bach to Cosmic Gate... and Punish Yourself... and the Rumjacks... and Little Big... and Arctic Monkeys and many things else..

I also read A LOT from a very classical littreature (I love Shakespeare or the King Arthur legend for example) to some more contemporanean books and authors like Herberto Helder or William Cliff
My favoutite writers include : Boris Vian, Edgar A. Poe, Milan Kundera, William Butler Yeats, Haruki Murakami, Jorge Luis Borges, Antonin Artaud, Tomas Tranströmer and many more.
I like poetry, write some also.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is an adventure! I could tell you my whole biography but it would take a big amount of time or tell you something that happend to me which will sound really dumb to you but which was actually very fun when it happened...
So let's talk about that around a beer!

Teach, Learn, Share

I just love to learn languages and different cultures.
