ABOUT ME

Well, what is there to tell?

I'm currently studying English intending to (hopefully)make it into the German embassy but so far I have to finish my first degree. Time will tell if I'm really up to it. I suppose I can say that I'm doing well enough, for now, ...
Living with my parents in the middle of nowhere I have to travel each day to Tübingen for my studies. Right now I'm in the States (near Chicago) for a year to improve my English skills and to learn more about the culture!

It seems I'm not very good at this... it's easier in peron I guess... ;)

Well, I love cooking and baking and enjoy having someone to serve (my dad's colleagues are especially spoiled).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, so far I haven't been able to host anybody but I have already spend several nights on other couches... and I must say I was pretty impressed at how open-minded and trusting my hosts have been. Amazing!

Music: I must admit that music doesn't mean the world to me.. I mean I really like Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Bellafonte, Johnny Cash or AC/DC but the more recent music is mostly not to my taste - except for Green Day who I am ravished by

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most stunning things I have ever seen, was a bushfire in Australia. I mean it was at least 5-10km away, but you could still feel the heat on your skin. Later, we were told the fire was laid there on purpose to avoid the "real" thing in summer. Wow!
