ABOUT ME

I have been told I am relaxed, easy going and friendly. A good listener. I like people to be on my side so I try to fit in as best as possible; not in a base way but to make people feel comfortable. i guess i'm just what you'd expect a normal nice person to be like: not a dick, chav, money grabber, pee on the seat, wife beating sort of a bloke!

PHILOSOPHY

Karma, do to others what you'd want them to do to you. Smile. Being nice is easy. Quiet people are often more interesting. Make people happy about themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i want people to feel welcome when they arrive in a city in the same way as i do when i arrive somewhere new. There are enough good people around for this to be possible but so many people and so little time means a community like this is a must.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any official couchsurfing experiences but i have done a bit of hitch hiking which I think is a more crude form of couchsurfing. You don't know who's picking you up; both parties take a risk based on a split second decision. Special people. An excellent way to understand the country and the people. Unforgettable journeys. Amazing amounts of generosity and kindness restores your faith in humanity!

Arthouse. Documentaries. Forign Films. Movies with a point not just a story. Sometimes some action, sci fi, road chases, battles, cgi stuff.
Too many books so i try to read the classics when i have time. Jorge Luis Borges seems to be the master.
