ABOUT ME

we are relocated midwesterners who now love the pacific northwest. shawn and i were recently married and have been touring the united states, visiting friends and family and throwing pig roasts. we've left our jobs as a cheesemonger and independent contractor to explore the world and pursue our dream of owning a dairy farm.

we like to run around outside - biking, hiking & general shenanigans. food is very important to us. we love to cook and eat and drink well.

laughter is king in our relationship. we are generally fun-loving, sometimes silly, sometimes serious people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we are new to cs, but would hope to give visitors a great seattle experience. we want to provide a comfortable place to stay and access to our knowledgeable experience of the city. and maybe some wine and cheese too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've stayed on lots of couches in my day. with my friends i've always had an open door policy. now i'm finding with cs i can feel good about having the same opportunities with new people.

Interessi

meghan makes and sells cheese. she is also an excellent chef. shawn is a carpenter and furniture maker. we hike, bike, camp, do yoga. we love to get together with friends and cook a big feast.

Musica, film e libri

all sorts: last year we were on a french noir kick; melville a go-go, but we watch a wide variety of film. meghan reads a bunch(mostly about food, but sometimes she veers into fiction). our ipods have always been full of a whole mess of different music: meghan leans toward stuff like the new pornographers and shawn to electronic artists.
