I am sorry to have to add, that at this time I am not able to accept guests. I have issues in my personal life that requires all my time and energy. On top of that I think I am the only one in this area unfortunately. But I will keep my profile. . . I am still active on the labour market, but at the moment out of a job. My children have left the nest, so now I have more time on my hands to do and see what I want. I would describe myself as friendly, sincere and curious. I have a down-to-earth sense of humour. In other people I value honesty, humour and straightforwardness.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have always thought the best way to experience a foreign country is to live with someone local. You get the best of both worlds by living a day-to-day life a bit like them as well as getting good ideas from them about what to see and do.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a lot of the new music streaming from the radio and the computer. Love all the old stuff of course; Elvis, Beatles, Doors, Bob Dylan, Traveling Wilbury´s etc. I´m a bit of a sucker for self-help books and I love books about buddhism. I do also enjoy watching a good movie, but almost never seem to watch one from start to finish...
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I don´t know, probably just being there for the ones I love. . Getting up every morning with the intention of doing my best to make it a fine day. For me a new day is a new chance.
Teach, Learn, Share
I do believe there is more between heaven and earth. I meditate and I am close to having finished a mindfulness instructor education. I am interested in learning new languages and/or improving on the ones, I already know.
My Interests
I like hiking. I like to read a good book. I'm interested in learning new languages. I enjoy drawing and painting but haven´t done enough of that lately. I like small as well as bigger adventures, but nothing on the extreme side. A stroll through a little town somewhere new can be as exciting as something major for me.
