Local music---one of my favorite things to do when I'm traveling & hear something neat is flag down some local and ask them who's playing. Might buy a CD on the spot or look them up when I get home. Music, after photos, are the best souvenirs.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Talk to people in a blockaded country. During the Special Period, I traveled to Cuba. Lesson learned? We can be friends even if our governments are not.
