Hello travel friends!
I'm a young woman living on my own in a small town called Elgin. I love the arts: music, writing and self expression of any kind. I only recently took my first trip out of the country and fell in love with traveling and becoming acquainted with new cultures and places.
I play the violin, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and piano. I am a bartender at the local pub. I have two cats. I love the colors blue and yellow and I love taking old furniture and making it beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that everybody should be able to travel the world, regardless of how much money they have. Couchsurfing is one of the ways that is possible, and one of the ways I myself was able to travel without having to spend a lot of money. I was shown incredible amounts of generosity and kindness by my couchsurfing hosts on my last trip abroad, and I want to extend that same generosity and kindness to other travelers.
I also, of course, hope to be able to stay with folks in all places of the world through this website. I'm excited to meet you all :)
