About Me

Not very active these day but you can still try to ping me :)
My profile is pretty old and I actually need to rewrite it.
Recently moved back to Germany (Mannheim) from Maryland (USA)

Heyhey,

well i guess it´s time to revive couchsurfing again!
I started using CS in the age of 18 when I travelled around europe and asia for quite some time.
It´s probably the best decision i could have made (and i advise it to everyone!). It turned out that I can be a quite extroverted person, something i would have never expected.

After that trip i used to travel to many more places but didn´t have so much time (and money) anymore since i started studying BusinessComputing in Mannheim, Germany.
I will go to the USA (CollegePark, Maryland) for a 6 months internship and would really like to use Couchsurfing during my trip again. I rented an apartment (next to the Campus) there but i still plan to see a couple of other places in the US.

ps:
Just to make it clear ... I'm a straight guy and really sure about it.

This used to be my old profile:

Hey,

I'm Tim from Viernheim which is between Heidelberg and Mannheim. Since I left high school I use a lot of my time to travel.
The last trip was about 6 months through Asia. It was the best thing i could have ever done !!! Totally unplanned without return ticket.

Just do it !!!

There are too many people just talking about traveling. Nobody is doing it. I saw a lot of new things while travelling ´cause i was looking for adventures and unexplored things and not only for parties.

Seeing the main spots is one thing but living a placed is far more important.

I like to meet new people and to develop my self. Meeting many different people and different cultures, making great experiences and having fun is my way to find myself.

See you !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing before i started travelling and i just tried it. After surfing on a few couches I realized that it is the best way to travel. You just meet a lot of great and open minded people and you can really experience the culture of a country !
It becomes quite difficult to leave popular paths but it´s easier with couchsurfing.

Interests

I´am quite sportive and I like almost everything ... jogging, swimming, mountainbiking, karate.
Improving my surf skills

Music, Movies, and Books

Listening and watching pretty much everything tbh. From Heavy Metal to Bollywood. (actually i really like indian films)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing?!
Well it´s difficult to just think of one thing... since i´ve been travelling quite a bit.
The night train from chiang mai to bangkok was one of the best. (Unbelievable)

What I Can Share with Hosts

You can stay with me and my family and explore Heidelberg or Mannheim. If I'm free I can show you the old bunkers in the forest, a military field from the cold war (which serves as a refugee village these days) or some other cool stuff !

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Morocco, Nepal, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
