Hello, I'm Anja and am 23 years old. I study Art and German in Osnabrück, Germany, to become a teacher. I'm living together with my boyfriend in a flat but right now I'm finishing my semester abroad in Lille, France. I'm an open minded person, who likes to get to know new people all over the world. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of people helping each other to travel. Nowadays it's unbelieveable expensive in the big citys and if you want to go somwhere, it's always nicer to have a local, who can give you tips and tell you where the special places are. Moreover I like to get to know new interesting people.

Interests

I like going out at night into bars and also dancing. Nevertheless I also like to get to know the culture of a city or a place. I love art and getting to know a city by wandering around. Drawing is a hobby of mine, as well as taking photos.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of Music; from Rock to Charts to Pop to Electro, there is nearly nothing that I dislike. For example I like the Foo Fighters a lot.
I also love a lot of movies; "Django Unchained", "The Fountain", "Lucky Number Slevin" .. and a lot more.
Books I love are: "Harry Potter", "The old man and the sea" and a lot of stuff from german authors like Hermann Hesse. Right now I'm reading "On the road" from Kerouac.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm finishing my semester abroad in France, which was really great. It was the first time that I was living in a strange land and had to speak another language for such a long time, but it was awesome and totally worth it.
