I'm 22 years old and hitchhiking around Europe this summer. I've just finished my third year of medical school at Plymouth University. Been traveling since I was 17 and I've lived in Paris and Italy (Milan and Sicily), working as an au pair for various families. I quickly fell in love with learning languages and experiencing places as the local people do to see the true character of the place! I love quirky little bars that only locals know, reading, and playing music! (I play guitar and piano) But most importantly, I love amazing food! It's probably why most of us travel right? ;)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because it allows me to visit a city and see it how it really is! Not how a normal tourist sees it but as a local! In my opinion, the locals always know the best places to do everything and I'd love the chance to experience new cities with their help!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I volunteered in hospitals in Nepal when I was 17. I climbed an eurupting volcano in Indonesia in shorts and t-shirt. And despite being English, I have managed to learn two new languages in the last four years!
