Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore places with the help of locals and enrich my travelling experience meeting new people. I would love to learn about different places and their culture and people.

Interests

I love travelling. I am talkative and can have a conversation with any age group. I love listening to stories and experiences from the people I meet. I want to meet people from different parts of the World and find out if they are actually like how they are stereotyped or nothing like that at all. Because, when i say I am from India people start judging me. But once they spend time with me and get to know me, they say oh you are not so different from us. So this realisation about people from different countries dawns upon us only when we converse and share stories with them.

I collect stamps and coins, I sing Indian classical music. Swimming, cycling, bird watching are some of my hobbies.

I confess that I am a huge shopaholic!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to anything and everything that sounds "good" according to me. I believe that music has no language barrier to be understood. I listen to songs sung in different languages. Violin is my favourite musical instrument.
