I'm currently studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. I am a Public Relations major with an English Writing minor. I will be graduating this December and hope to join the Peace Corp. shortly after.

I love cats and will happily tell you all about my three-legged one back home. I don't speak much French, but am slowly learning. I consider myself a simple person, I enjoy reading (Game of Thrones being the most recent thing I've finished), watching movies and television (just finished Marco Polo, currently watching House of Cards).

There are a few places I'd love to visit during my time abroad, and I'd love to enrich those experiences by staying with locals. I love to hear about the lives of other people, and I'd be more than happy to share my own experiences.

Intereses

I love reading and writing, hiking and skiing, horseback riding and a whole list of other things. I'm most passionate about volunteering, and spend a lot of my free time back home doing projects revolving around that.

Música, películas y libros

Currently pretty into Hozier for music, but I generally enjoy all types and have had phases being into of nearly every kind. My favorite movie is 3:10 to Yuma, I'm currently in a script writing class and writing a western, but I promise I won't tell you all about it. Favorite book is the series, A Song of Ice and Fire - better known as Game of Thrones. I similarly love the show and if you watch it too I'd be happy to have long, passionate conversations about character development and the over all plot.

Skiing in the Swiss Alps, with an amazing view of the Matterhorn, is not something I ever imagined doing. That was definitely amazing.

I know all kinds of things about Iowa (home), if you'd like to learn a bit of odd midwest history. I'm afraid I'm not a great cook, but I do fancy myself a bit of a story teller and generally have a knack for making people laugh.
