Random facts are the best intro :)

Avid international traveler! I enjoy trying out all sorts of ethnic cuisines. I'm not a big fan of the term "foodie"...but I'll go with it!...of course, I enjoy cooking as well!

I do need my coffee in the morning! Otherwise, wine lover, with a more recent appreciation for beer (porters and stouts mostly).

Love B&W photography, and in general, travel and wildlife photography.

I try to keep up with the international movies scene, with a preference for the ones that have dialogue in the foreign languages that I speak.

Working on improving my yoga and snowboarding skills :)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

OK, I actually have 2 amazing things I've done that I will always remember fondly:

1. Cuddling a baby wombat at a wildlife sanctuary in Tasmania...a very touching moment...her name was Maggie...I really wanted to take her home with me!

2. The Tongariro Alpine Crossing in Tongariro National Park, New Zealand - where they partially shot "The Lord of the Rings".
