I'm a Spanish guy living in Cincinnati, OH (USA). I'm a 30 years old graduate student at University of Cincinnati, where I pursue my PhD in Philosophy. I'm in love with philosophy, but also with experimental psychology, music, and beautiful cities. I like soccer, reading, good beer, fresh air, meeting people, and funny things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I like traveling and discovering new places. Eventually I also have to travel dut to attending conferences and seminars --this is part of graduate student's work, you know :)

Couchsurfing is a really affordable and funny way to stay in new cities!

Interests

I have two main interests: Music and philosophy. But I also like soccer and hiking. I love going to museums and walking by the street of new cities. I like good conversations, good beers, and good food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock'n'roll. I guess my favourite bands are The Black Crowes, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Judas Priest, and Dio. I also in love with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. I like new songwriters or bands as Micah P. Hinson or The Ragged Jubilee. And, of course, I like Spanish music! Anyway, music is my passion, so I'm always open to listen to new bands.

I'm not a great fan of movies or cinema, but I guess I have some favourite ones: The Neverending Story, Bravehart, The Lion King, The Shawshank Redemption...

I really like reading, so I is not easy to make a list. Anyway, just to name some of the books I've enjoyed in my life, I could say: "Pragamtism" by W. James, "Moby Dick" by H. Melville, "Postman" by C. Bukowsky, "On the Road" by J. Kerouac, "The Pillars of Earth" by K. Follet, "The Wise Man's Fear" by P. Rothfuss...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmm... I guess one of the most amazing things I've done is that time I crossed the US coast to coast by car. From Roanoke, VA to Santa Monica, CA. 20 days of trip. Great cities, great sights, Route 66, Las Vegas, L.A., etc. An amazing adventure!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm polite and civic. I'm also easy-going. I think I can share amazing conversations and willingness to lear alot about the place in which I were. Sometimes I spent the whole day in a conference, so I'm not a disturbance :)
