Hello out there!
This is Anna, always triing to go out for all the stuff that is to discover!

At the moment I am in Israel, working in Haifa for 4 months during my last year of medicine school. Already crossed See Galilee swimming, explored rebirthing for the first time at the Earthdance- Zion, had amazing conversations with people from so many different cultures and always looking forward triing to get to know this country better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first "couch" I slept on was in New Zealand when I was about 19. I didn't know that there is this kind of homepage where you can sign in and get in touch with other couchsurfers so easy. I always got to know someone during my trips and it results in couchsurfing, friendships or however you can call it.
Well, nice to be here! Now I am triing the latest standards, methods and technologies :-D

Interests

First of all I love to be outside! And I nearly love everything you can do outside. Like Walking, hiking, climbing, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, sailing, running.
Besides being outside I love arts (most of all Renaissance). I went to Italy a couple times, I spend a lot of time in research about Dürer, Leonardo da Vinci, Donatello in Florenz and Paris.
I started ballet when I was a child and never stoped loving to wear these pointe shoes.
Since 2,5 years I´ve got a new interest! I guess it's more than just that. Since Martin and me went on that Watzmann- Mountain last year we decided to go on this adventure called "life" together. He is working in Switzerland at the moment and will come visiting me in Dezember.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a lot of things and adventures and moments I will never ever forget. But one came to my mind very quick: I will never forget these eyes of that shark which swam beside me. He started to swim in circles and focused me all the time. That was the moment I realised that I am just a small fish in this big blue ocean swimming beside an animal that is just trying to show me that it's worth it to stop breathing sometimes, to pause and find out the truly important things in life.....well, maybe he was just hungry...
