About Me

Hi ! my names Anna as you can see on my profile haha. I have lived my whole life in the Blue Mountains. It is a beautiful area of Australia and home to theThree Sisters and the Second Largest canyon in the world. I love the wild life and the bush. I love to go out and party but the best places to go and party is your mates house or your going to have to treck it to the city a two and a half hour train trip. I am currently studying at The University of Notre Dame to be a registered nurse and am in my second year, wooohoo one more year to go! I also work as an AIN in a nursing home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Sticky Fingers, The Kooks, Foo Fighters, The Script, classical, Hilltop Hoods, Sia. Just to name a few ( I have a pretty broad taste in music though just depends on the mood I am in)
Movies: I love the Bourne Identity movies and the Lethal weapon movies.
Books: I love fictional and biographies- The Hunger Games, starting on Game of Thrones, A couple of good biography's would be Marching power and Will to Live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled to the Holy Lands. I visited Jordan, Jerusalem and Bethlehem. This country is rich with diversity and culture. Whilst walking down a lane doesn't seem too amazing imagine a very narrow cobbled street filled with tones of stalls. The stalls were filled with colourful fabrics, jewellery, a great variety of food that filled the lane with a wonderful variety of smells. There were women clothed beautifully either selling or buying. Bartering, every one was bartering trying to get a better price. I couldn't see where it came from but music filled this lane. The life that filled this lane was beautiful. Whilst this was the perception of a naive child as I was young when I visited here, it is definitely what fuelled my hunger for travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: I want to learn about different cultures and how people live. I have always had a great interest in people and things that were far from the ordinary for me, probably because I have grown up in a very sheltered part of the world that did not have much diversity in the area until just the past few years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am polite, am always willing to give a helping had, will always clean up after myself, am laid back and I like to talk and get to know people.
