Heyyaaa,

I'm Dominique. I'm new to all this couchsurfing thing. I knew already that it was existing but wasn't using it. One of my close friends is using it time to time for her world travel and recommended it. I was travelling my last year around and along the Australian eastcoast, spent some time in between in Asia and want to see the western face of Oz now. I'd prefer contact to locals, simply because it's much more fun than staying in backpackers. Not that I don't like them or their customers but I prefer the more silent version of travelling now. I'm chipping in fun, love, good conversations if you want, a nice time and last but not least my travel experiences in exchange.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my last relationship we offered couchsurfing to many people in our old flat by using my girlfriends account. I'm originally from Munich, a very expensive place to stay if you're just travelling through. Prices for accommodation are bizarre and the best places to see in Munich always have been for free but you mostly don't know as a foreigner. So we wanted to make it a bit more easier for backpacker, traveller or simply weekend explorers.

Interests

...vary from day to day. But generally I'm keen on exploring everything new. I'm technical minded, this explains my degree, but I'm more a generalist than a specialist. I used to to freeriding on skies or with my bike, race cycling through the mountains or asia and especially through dead city centres at nighttime... I like endurance sports with a huge amount of fun.
So this is how I try to spent my free spare time

Music, Movies, and Books

A good movie when there's a rainy day is allright, I'm reading books mainly during holidays but music is accompanying me all day long. And all kind of music depending on my moods of course
