Hi everyone, it’s Carlos here! I’m a nineteen-year-old guy native of Valencia, Spain. Even though I love my country and it's culture, my open-minded personality isn’t closed to live new experiences. That’s the reason why I’ve been travelling all along my short teenager life around different parts of Europe.
I'm always ready to meet new people and face new challenges, and that’s the way I try to be. I consider myself an easy-going guy without problems with regard to making new friends. As I’ve travelled so many times by myself, I’ve learned to communicate easily with everyone (if not, you’re done out there) so, getting to know new people from all around the world isn’t an issue for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Five years ago I had the chance to take part in an Exchange programme with a dutch school in Nijkerk, a little town in Holland. I can say that this trip changed my life. Spending a week with a completely unknown person who, at the end, turns into the brother you’ve always wanted to have… a mixture of different cultures where each one learns the best from the other. You know, sometimes we need to get out of our daily routine to realize there’s amazing people waiting for us out there. Such a rewarding experience that touched my heart and my mind. So, from that day on, I’ve been seeking for any little period of free time I could take advantage of to get away and search for new adventures... I joined this website for summer 2015 when I first and only used it.
