Overview
About Me
Dane working in DC promoting fairness in the civil justice system. Spent last year living my dream of studying abroad.
I'm always up for new ideas and enjoy a night out on dive bars just as much as a night in with board games. Amateur guitarist, outspoken, professional bulshitter, and holder of strong opinions on the best dive bar and restaurant in the city I live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been doing couchsurfing informally a few times and found that it was a great way to meet new people and get to know a city the way I prefer -- less touristy, more locally.
I have a goal of visiting all of the major cities in every American state to explore their bars, the food scene, and most importantly learn what make them stand out from the rest of the U.S.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC -- Don't know where to start or where to begin. Favorite genre is rock Muse, Oasis, QoTSA, The Stones, The Black Keys, The White Stripes, Them Crooked Vultures, Led Zeppelin, RATM.
Movies -- Give me any film with witty and raw dialogue. Tarantino, In Bruges, Fight Club, Boogie Nights, Full Metal Jacket, The Big Lebowski.
Books -- Just finished "How We Decide". At this moment, I'm trying to balance between "The Art of Choosing", "God Is Not Great", "The UCB Comedy Improvisation Manual", and whatever Ian Fleming has written.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Road-tripped the 101 and Death Valley with five of my closest friends; learned that Polish people cure morning migraine with a shot of vodka (I'm serious); made my parents wish of visiting Niagara Falls come true.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH:
Always happy to talk about Danish culture and give an outsider's take one the U.S. I love cooking, especially with a glass of wine and great company. It's not Michelin star quality; it'll still be worth it.
LEARN:
I love to learn about places where other people have travelled and their experiences. Also, since my guitar skills are still only slightly better than beginner, I'd love to pick up a few things along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A never-ending appetite to get to know new people and the city they love to live in.
