About Me

I'm a second year uni of Leeds student currently enjoying my year abroad in Morocco, Fes. Laid-back, passionate about life, meshugge traveller, language learner, dancer, (hitch)hiker, soon-to-be ukuleleist. Just me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always prefered being a discoverer instead of a tourist. In order to become one you have to get to know not only popular sights, but also the nation whose home you are visiting - and that in essence is why I'm on couchsurfing.

Just like most of couchsurfers here I am into travelling, discovering new places, meeting new people and so on, but my biggest passion is language learning - I could literally spend my life doing vocabulary and grammar tasks in every language possible. Apart from that I'm a snowboarder (I teach little kiddos snowboarding too) and a classical ballet dancer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't listen to genres, I listen to bands regardless of what type of music they are playing. Some of my top listened would be Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Tom Mesch, Alt-J, Sigur Rós, AJJ, Tricky, Tame Impala, but there are many others too.

Movies: crazy about Sorrentino's movies, Tarantino (not only Pulp Fiction), Christopher Nolan, Darren Aronovsky, very recently more into Asghar Farhadi

Books: Tolstoy, Dostoievsky, Orwell, Garcia, Cabre, Bulgakov. Lots of lots, but these are my faves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crazy snow groomer ride in polish mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basis of polish language, I can share my stories and I crave for the same in return.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually learn a bit of local language when travelling so there are quite some chances I'm gonna talk to you in your language. I can also cook some polish food for you. I actually discovered my rather limited cooking talent while couchsurfing in Riga when I was asked to cook polish gulasz with kopytka; turned out it wasn't particularly the worst dish ever produced on planet earth!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Ireland, Morocco, Poland
