Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to keep things (live) simple and I love meeting people. And couchtravelling is a way to do that. I've been swapping houses for some years, but the fun of couchsurfing is that you can both stay at the same place. There's always a couch and most of the time when I travel I don't need a whole house or my own bedroom.
It is much more interesting and costs less than living in hotels or B&B.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been travelling in Greece for half a year without any plan or program in 1992, when we had no internet, no smartphones, nothing. Slept on a beach for 5 weeks, just living under a pinetree.
