I'm a big fan of coffee, cats, books, and languages. I studied in Estonia and Sweden, where I got to know people from all around the world and where I learnt how to travel :). I finished my degree in Czechia in Ostrava and now I work as an English teacher.

Music, Movies, and Books

My longtime favorite musician is Regina Spektor and now it's also Aurora. I enjoy Radiohead, Lily Allen, Taylor Swift, Jain, and Björk.

From the movies I like the old classic Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain. Otherwise I saw A Beautiful Mind, Girl Interrupted and everything from Jane Austin about a million times.

Well, with books, that's where it gets really hard to decide about favorites. I read A LOT. There are the indisputables like Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Jane Austins, but then it comes to the long long list of other books I love. I have to mention at least nonsense and playful poems by Edward Lear, Petr Nikl, and Brian Bilston. Then there are nursery rhymes and children's books that I for some inexplicable reason like so much. Apart from these, I like books about people with mental diseases, like Still Alice (about Alzheimer's, by Lisa Genova) and All the Bright Places (bipolar disorder, by Jennifer Niven). Another favorites of mine are utopian and distopian novels (you know George Orwell). Etc, etc, etc. Bored ot of your mind yet :)?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to drive a dog sled in Swedish Lapland and then, during the night, I saw the polar lights ^^!
