First of all I am a terrible writer, so please do not take my profile too serious ;)

I am very relaxed and laid-back. Because of my unhurried-lifestyle and my beard all my friends tell me that I am pretty much a bear... So yeah there is that but I think it kinda fits as balu the bear has been my favourite character since my early days.

I am spontaneous and brisk however I am more likely to be the guy you would find with a beer in the sun than at the disco.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world! Via couchsurfing I can get around and get to know the people too, so that's two birds with one stone ;)

I do like the slogan "stay with locals and make travel friends" as it reflects perfectly what I want to do. For the same reason I like to share my apartment so that others (you?) can stay with locals when getting around the world.

Interests

I am a Technology- Enthusiast so I am interested in every new technology. Currently I am working a lot with Virtual-Reality devices and artificial intelligence.

Video games and games in general have become a major part in my life (yes, I know what that sounds like) and as a gamedeveloper I am interested in these topics as well.

I love to go hiking and staying out in the nature just as much as I love sailing. There is nothing better than having a cold beer in the setting sun on the sea :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Steering a 11m (36 feet) long sailing yacht during a storm. That was scary as hell but even more awesome!
