I joined this world in the February of 97. Had a go at the A Levels, got conscripted, finished service, and so it’s university time for me. These days, I try to make more music and write some stories. In the meantime, gunning for a piano recital diploma and japanese proficiency. I love to chill and I love people who don’t take themselves too seriously : - )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I very often find myself in the middle of nowhere, wishing I had shelter, a shower, and somebody to talk to, sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively...

But this is the year I decided I want to take on existential dread, and wrestle it to the ground by doing things I never dared to: venture out into the world by myself and see it with my own eyes and meet the people in it.

All sorts of music float my boat, because there’s something to feel and learn from them all. Blues, rock, jazz, rap, classical, country, world... all’s good.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and Roy Andersson’s stuff.

Books
Epic fantasies, short stories and westerns. Lonesome Dove, Hitchhiker’s Guide and Bridge of Birds are my favourites. Love perusing through dictionaries of any language too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Forced myself to somehow pickup skiing by making my first time a long and painful tumble down the Japanese alps. Also ate a scorpion whole once.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I can teach some mandarin, and the limited knowledge I have about music. I can ramble on pseudo-intellectually and pretend to be deep. I can try to be funny too.

I'd love to know ALL the languages and learn about different cultures. Plus, I'd love to learn about people and their stories — it helps in my quest to understand what it means to be human.

Anything I can help with, I will gladly lend a hand! I can somewhat cook and clean.
