我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing during a 9-month world tour in 2016. I surfed in Myanmar and all over the USA and Canada. Hosted a bunch of people since then. Always love to meet new people!

兴趣

Discovering the world, meeting new people and culture, cooking, hanging out with interesting buddies with some beers (the beer part is not mandatory but always appreciated!)
Reading books (do not disturb me when I'm in the middle of a good one). Hiking wherever I find some nice landscape (the last one was the Himalayan mountains - went to Everest Base Camp). Living life to the fullest. Photography (quite new into that one).

All kind of music, as long as we can either hear each other talking or enjoying it with a good glass of wine.

When it comes to books, I love comics (however, it's not handy to carry around...!), classic French writers (Hugo, Zola, Maupassant, Barjavel,...) philosophic essays... About contemporary writing, I love historical novels. My favorite authors are Ken Follet (Pillars of the Earth, Fall of Giants), J-M Auel (Children of the Earth), Marc Levy,...

Concerning movies: anything with a good plot and thrilling enough to last 120min

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

a 20'000km (13.000 miles) road trip from Anchorage (Alaska) to Miami (Florida), meditate with a Buddhist monk in a cave in Myanmar, walk 100km within 24h, got into an motorbike accident in Benin, watch the milky way lying in the sand at White Sand, 2000km by bus in West Africa, trek to Everest Base Camp and so many more !!
