Hello! My name is Roxana, I am a very quirky and easygoing person.
I am currently a student and majoring in biology with minors in latinx studies and public health. I enjoy being outside and discovering new places, having micro adventures whenever possible, and learning about the global and the local. I'm fairly calm and spend most of my time reading, listening to music, drinking tea, and writing or drawing. Currently, I have an internship with an NGO in Rio de Janeiro so I'm exploring the city, enjoying my summer vacation, and doing a lot of sitting at desks reading articles.

I am living in a spacious house in Catete, Rio de Janeiro this summer. I would love to share the space with fellow travelers, meet new people, and welcome them to a city that I myself am learning more about every day I live here. I am offering to host anyone that needs a place to stay in my spare room and couches. It would also be great to have company to explore the city with, and to show some of my favorite places. When I was traveling these past months, other people opened up their homes to me and I want to pay this kindness forward.
