About Me

Feb 24th 2019
Hello, I'm Vincenzo from Catania Italy, grew up on Europe's biggest active volcano, Etna. I know fire, like real fire XD!! I'm moving to LA in march, first time couchsurfing.
After graduating from university of Baltimore I spent about 5 months working in Italy on smart specialization strategies funded by the EU on their S3 cooperation platform.
I went back to be close to my family and I am coming back to the US to work, meet people, train, write, pay school loans, and find my way like Joseph Campbell might say.
Now looking to sustain myself and find people and businesses to partner with to create innovative solution ecosystems that connect people needs and values to the right way (sustainable, efficient, fair, collaborative, win win) of doing something.

and I'm working up a personal portfolio site too @ www.intlv.it (in construction)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to see and be inspired by people who really do what they like and like what they do. I hope to meet people who are really active, independent, revolutionary minded, creative, curious, entrepreneurial, and whoever thinks might have some good suggestions about how to best get around in LA. I hope to jump around for a month, mentally map out the city and find a room to rent and a job while I work on my life challenge, doing international business.

Music, Movies, and Books

Enamored with Pink Floyd's space, Scriabin's gravity and color, Rachmaninoff's pouring heart, Fela Kuti's political incorrectness, Mac Miller's trips, Kokoro's sounds like dreams of a West African coast life, Nina Simone's unpredictability and raw power, BuenaVistaSocialClub's son stories, Rodrigo Amarante's song called Ribbon, ElGrandeToTo, and so so so much more, I love music in every way.

I don't read as much as I should but, some of my favorite writing are from M.Aurelius, F.Capra, C.G.Jung, Seneca, S. Hawkings, E. F. Amiel, Daodejing, M.Musashi and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took my mom and sister to travel with me in Belgium, the Netherlands and Deutschland while being a full time student in the US.

Teach, Learn, Share

So meta in my approach.. I can teach things like visualizing ideas with different communicative shapes, I always get interested in people's movement patterns and I can help most friends find a woken feeling for their body. I like to share my cooking disabilities, and movement practice. Could show you how to make a webpage and host it, drawing flowcharts, building e-marketing and content strategies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

POVs from my multicultural experience, knowledge of human performance, ideas, walking meditations, my favorite music, fun moments, my digital books collection, some monay, research help, singing accompaniment I always share my attention and curiosity too, i'm a good listener and rhythm flows through my veins, so I'll keep the beat if you want to play musical instruments. I'd give a helping hand with house tasks, writing/editing something, and I generally find ways to be helpful in any way I can (fashion advice, interior design??)... If you don't do what you can do then you just won't do anything, so I may also help you draw maps and frameworks, write professional business proposal or plans (which takes time).
