About Me
👋 Hey everyone!
/// For possible travelers to my place: 😊 Just a quick note — I try to read all the requests I get, but I can’t always reply to everyone. I usually respond only when I feel I can genuinely offer something or be a good host match + I have the time. I hope you understand, and I truly apologize if you don’t hear back. Take care and safe travels! 🌍✨

I'm Marc, a Dietician and I'm really passionate about this topic! In fact, I love learning about all kinds of science-related topics! I also have a keen interest in cooking (although I must admit, I'm not always the world's best chef! 😅).
I also like practicing my language skills whenever I get the chance. When I'm not working, I sometimes like to strum on my ukulele or guitar, journal, take long walks around Barcelona and read non-fiction books.
I've lived in both Manresa and Barcelona, in the heart of Catalonia, as well as in Reus and Budapest.
While I wouldn't say I'm a full-time traveler, I definitely love to explore new places and try new things 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
🧳✈️ I like to travel a little bit more and explore new places! There's something so exciting about immersing yourself in different cultures and discovering all the amazing things this world (and its people) has to offer.
👥 Even though I am somewhat of an introvert, I still like meeting new people and it is another thing I'm really looking forward to - there's nothing quite like connecting with others from different backgrounds and learning about their unique experiences and perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books
📚 If you're looking for a great non-fiction read, I highly recommend "Deep Work" by Cal Newport. It's one of my personal favorites and I think it's a must-read for anyone looking to improve their productivity and focus.
🎶 When it comes to music, I have a pretty eclectic taste, but I particularly enjoy pop songs, some gospel, and chill music. Some of my favourite artists are Passenger, Kirk Franklin or Lawrence. Btw, I am a huge fan of Eurovision! 🎤🎉
🎥 I don't really watch lots of films or movies, I tend to repeat what I watch regularly. I guess its the comfort of not having to choose haha. As for my favorite movie, I have to go with "The Devil Wears Prada." It may not be the best movie ever made, but it's definitely my go-to when I want to relax and enjoy a good film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18, I traveled alone (for the first time) to Budapest and it was an incredibly freeing experience, being able to be on my own and discover places at my own pace. What makes it even cooler is that I got to meet with a penpal we had been writing for a while. It was quite exciting! Overall, it was a memorable freeing experience that I will never forget.
What I Can Share with Hosts
🤝 I hope to have the opportunity to connect with hosts during my travels and share our mutual interests! Whether it's chatting about any of our passions or share cool curiosities about where we come from I'm always eager to engage with others and learn new things.
🗣️ I live in a shared flat with 3 other roommates, can offer one individual bed, matress or couch (most probable), depending on how the busy our flat is. I live in Eixample of Barcelona, so pretty much centric in Barcelona. I am not sure I can provide keys, so you might need to adapt to my schedule. Apart from that, I try to provide the best experience for you. If there's any doubt, please do contact me.
