IMPORTANT UPDATE ON PROFILE
Hi we are Sezin and Sibel. We are mother and daughter whom had the privilege to meet new people and host them in our house because of CS. It has been 7 years since we started and we have made many friends we still see and keep in touch time to time. We would like to thank again to all our visitor friends and host friends around the world for the things we shared.

Both of our lives changed a lot since Sezin is in 3rd year of her uni, and Sibel is retired.

This profile is now being used mostly by Sezin (21) for her travels so the rest of the profile will be adjusted accordingly. Dont be confused because of the references may reference the name Sibel more.

SEZIN
Hello i am Sezin and i am a 21 year old biology student. I always loved travelling with local people of the area to experience the city fully, and when we started CS the local people of the world came to our door:) I am always unbelievably grateful for my experiences with people from CS. It has opened my mind and world from such a young age and i met great role models.

MY FAVORITES
I love cooking. Mentioning Anthony Bourdain might be boring but he has changed my view of food and culture. I love to cook from different cultures and also love sharing recipes that i have developed myself!:)
I have endless love for nature and animals. I love hiking in the nature and i walk dogs for people in my neighbourhood.
I love art and fashion. I love learning about it and i love predicting trends. I like all things crafty, drawing, photography and videography. Especially street art! I love making stickers and graffiti.
I am also a really geeky person, studying biology and learning data analysis at the same time. So anything about nature and science excites me. I am really fond of good fiction and animations.If you are a geeky person also im sure we will get along quickly:)

PERSONALITY

I am a vibrant and empathetic person.I’m driven to connect with others and get inspired by people.I believe that life is all about getting to know what it means to be human(thats why i study biology, and read philosophy) and what being "yourself" looks like. So i try to collect various memories to know myself and the world better. Meeting new people is something i never plan to stop because it helps me get over my ego and get over myself, i always learn something about what it means to be a soul experiencing a physical world at the end of the day. I have a curious nature. I try to keep my childlike wonder and taste many foods, visit many places and have many exciting days as i can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling in the first place.When i tried couchsurfing for the first time i really understood how important knowing a local is. Also im so lucky to know AMAZING AMAZING people from Couchsurfig.Never had a bad experience so far. I am so lucky to be in this community that accompanies people while travelling, and values making it an unforgettable experience for them. I also love hosting people because i love to share my company and knowledge with travellers.We have made a lot of international friends and some of them are like our family.I find cs really meaningful and i love to make new friends from all around the world:)

I do love seeing local DJs, i love techno (except industrial). I wish i had more energy and enthusiasm to attend as much events as i like, but yeah i love dancing when the moon is in the right stage and the wind breezes through the right side.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have backpacked from Brussels to Amsterdam with my mother and backpacked in Seul and Korea solo when i was just 16 :)

I dont know if i had done one amazing thing but i try to be a positive influence in peoples lives even if its a small talk, a recommendation, being there at the right time and giving them what they need possibly. Because i see myself as the combination of every impact everyone has ever made on me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a really tidy person and i always clean up my mess. I respect peoples schedules and lifestyles. We can plan a home-cooking day or a night-out day if you want. Really depends on how much we click.
