I am a Biology student at NYU Abu Dhabi who loves to travel and meet new, different, and interesting people. I currently live in the UAE where I've gotten the chance to interact with people from all over the world. I really enjoy the arts and talking about anything related to them. I also love to bake, specially when it's for other people to eat because it makes me really happy to put a smile on their faces! I enjoy informed, intelligent conversations where my views are challenged and where we both learn new perspectives.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I think that it is a platform that allows me to connect with locals from wherever it is I'm visiting. By staying and interacting with a local, I get to see so many different things that I would not have been able to see as a tourist. Also, it allows me to meet new people which is always filled with a lot of fun and pleasant surprises.

Some of my favorite reads include The Little Prince, The Great Gatsby, and some Stefan Zweig. My taste in music is all over the place, ranging form Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Queen, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, Lana del Rey, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay. My favorite movie of all time is Sound of Music. I really enjoy musicals (La La Land being a particular film that stands out) but I also like some classics like Rebel Without a Cause and The Godfather.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Coming from a tropical country with many mountains and beaches, I've come across some interesting flora and fauna. One time, I got to swim with dolphins in the Caribbean coast of Honduras, which was pretty sweet (**I made sure they were treated well in the venue, I do not condone animal abuse for tourist pleasure**)!
