About Me

Hi there! I'm Federico, a 24-year-old Argentinian Industrial Engineer. I'm an easy-going, low-maintenance guy. However, I'm always up for doing fun stuff or just hanging out.

I love having conversations, whether they involve meaningful stuff or not. I really like getting to know people, and learning about their life stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to get to know a city or a country is through local people.

Interests

I love sports. I play football on a weekly basis, and train almost daily.

Music-wise, I love folk and indie the most, but I'm always listening to new music trying to find new bands.

I've played guitar for more than 10 years now, and I love singing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, Phoenix, Glass Animals, Bon Iver, Kings of Leon, Alabama Shakes, Jorge Drexler, Los Tabaleros, El Kuelgue, and many others! Spotify: fedemf_142

Books: I've read a lot, but I don't usually go for the classics. My favorite book is a trilogy about a swedish crusader -written by Jean Guillou-. I also loved Rayuela by Cortazar, and another trilogy about a roman emperor. I'm also a Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fan.

Movies: Zoolander, 50-50, Beginners, The wedding crashers, Whiplash, Lord of the Rings (the 3 of them).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've seen is Hornstrandir (a pretty virgin area in the Northwest of Iceland). I was hiking there for 3 days and it was just breathtaking.

The most amazing thing I've ever done is probably touring the mines in Potosí, Bolivia. Or hitch-hiking all along the Ring Road in Iceland.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I love teaching, in the past I've helped friends out with different stuff and I've loved it. I can teach spanish, english, maybe a bit of guitar, and basic things about photography.

Learn: I tend to get passionate about any new thing I try to learn. I'm currently trying to cultivate myself in photography. I'd love to learn how to cook fancier things than I do now.

Share: anything! Conversations, a beer, a sport, jamming, or whatever you're up for!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of positive vibes, I'm very respectful of spaces and I love to help out as much as I can -I'll learn quickly how to do anything that might be helpful-. I'm easy to get along with and very adaptable.
