Well, my name's Charly and I'm 25 years old, I live here in Spain since I was a kid, but I was born in France. I've studied Computer Systems and after, I got into the tourism world, I've always loved to travel so, I've decided to study it. Since I've finished, I worked as a hotel front desk agent, as tourism guide, in a visitor center, and currently I'm the manager of a beach first line holiday resort.

The last year I've got my first Au Pair experience due to I had a personal bad streak and I thought that this experience taking care of kids abroad would help me. And effectively helped me, I lived in Switzerland with a such lovely family, we are very close to Germany so I visited this awesome country many times, we also gone on holidays to Greece, in Rhodes Island and it was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed that experience.

It seems that my live is just about tourism world, but nothing further from the truth. I'm a very active guy so, apart of tourism, I love to do sports, whatever it is, at work I have a gym, so I workout almost everyday. As I said before, I have the sea just 100 meters from me, so I like to swim or to run by the beach when I leave the job every afternoon before back home, or in the morning before start the journey.

The most important thing in my life is my family. They have always supported me , and I know that without them, I would not have gotten anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Okay, basically I'm here because I work all high season here in Spain, approximately from April to end September or even October, and during this time off that I have the rest of year, even if I work a little bit, I have a lot of time for me, a lot of time that since now, I want to spend travelling, knowing new places, new cultures, new people, travellers that, as me, wants the same things. And I thing that being here, I can have the oportunity to do it.

Probably next year I'm going to build my own house here in my region, in Delta de l'Ebre, the second most important natural wet place of Spain and in the top 5 of Europe, and I will build it thinking to be able to house some guests. Thus I'll can make traveller friends and exchange stays in my house by theirs. It could be nice!
