Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had never heard of Couchsurfing - I didn't even suspect such a thing could exist - until last May, when my path ran - by total surprise - across that of two men wandering around the world on an education-oriented project. I hosted them for 5 days, we explored the city, talked a lot, played some games with the kids, cooked together and made friends. I really enjoyed the experience, the company and the exchanges. A real life-changing experience as far as I am concerned. So I'm interested in renewing the experience...
Yet, as I'm very very busy at present and will be for a few more months, I won't be hosting for now... or, if you really want to connect, maybe just for a night or two depending on the circumstances and on my schedule, or just to meet up... well, don't hesitate to reach out and we'll try to figure it out :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled from Eastern Europe to Siberia through Central Europe, excavating and exploring various archaeological dig sites (even found mammoth tusks!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would share a typically Belgian meal, tour you around Liège and/or Brussels, play board games if you also fell into that as a child, could even take you hiking in the Fagnes if you're interested and if I'm available, and chat obviously :-)
I could help you learn some French too, or we could practise English or Russian!
