Hello, my full name is Nguyen Duy Phuong, but you can call me Chris, from Vietnam. I am an alumni of Foreign Trade University - HCMC Campus. People around me say that I'm quite sociable, positive and open-minded, which I'm very glad to hear.

I have a huge interest in travelling as a backpacker, around the world if possible, to explore much more about other people, their culture, cuisine, lifestyle, etc... However, I'm not a party-hard guy at bar and pub during my trip, which is usually for sightseeing, culture learning and some alone time.

Also, I'd love to join in community activities and exchange program to help others and also develop myself.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I found Couchsurfing on the internet, and immediately felt impressed. I do believe this will be one of the best ways to find new amazing friends that share travelling interest (both hosts and backpackers) on the road.

In my budget for the trip, there is always a part for hostel or hotel rental, but if possible, I want to try CS with local people in the destination to communicate, learn new things and make friends.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

- I love to see action movie (especially DC's and Marvel's), fiction and anime movies. Seriously, I'm and will always be a big fan of cartoon and power ranger movies, no matter how old I get. :)
- Sometimes I spend my free time reading books of short stories about adventure, trips, meaningful lessons, maybe horror as well.
- For music, I prefer Pop and Country songs, sometimes Dance when I'm in good mood. V-Pop, US-UK or K-Pop are all fine to me. But especially, I really admire singers who can sing live beautifully.

I know that Vietnamese is very tough for foreigners, so if you're interested, I can give a small hand on learning it :) I'm quite confident at speaking English as well.
Moreover, I can do some chores and simple cooking if the host allows me to help/join them.
